Performance & Technology

Performance

Mild hybrid powertrain
The Ford Puma is available with self-charging mild hybrid powertrains, designed to support the petrol engine and help improve fuel efficiency. Using regenerative braking, the mild hybrid system recovers energy as you drive and uses it to assist the engine when needed, helping to reduce CO2 emissions while keeping the Puma responsive and enjoyable to drive.

Driving Modes
For drivers who want an easier drive in traffic, selected Ford Puma models are available with a seven-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission. This makes the Puma well suited to stop-start city driving, regular commuting and longer journeys. Selectable drive modes, including Eco, Sport, Trail and Slippery, allow you to adapt the drive to different conditions and preferences.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make it easy to stay connected, while the available 5G modem, over-the-air updates and wireless charging help keep the driving experience convenient and up to date.

Driver assistance technology
Driver assistance technology is also available to help make everyday driving more confident. Features such as Blind Spot Information System and Cross Traffic Alert can help monitor hidden hazards and approaching vehicles, particularly when changing lanes, reversing or navigating busy car parks.
