Advanced Technologies
The Ford Mustang has a range of advanced technologies that enhance your driving experience! A new 12″ digital instrument cluster delivers invaluable information, which is optimised to match the drive mode: Normal, Sport+, Snow/Wet, Track, and Drag Strip. MagneRide Damping System is also available on the Mustang, this advanced suspension provides outstanding control on the track and exceptional comfort on the road. If that wasn’t enough, the Mustang also comes with Adaptive Cruise Control, meaning you can choose the speed you want to drive at and the system will then brake or accelerate automatically to help maintain it.
Engine
To improve the Mustang’s performance even further, a dual-fuel, high-pressure direct injection has been added to the Mustang’s 5.0L V8 engine. The overboost on the 2.3L EcoBoost engine has also been increased whilst still reducing emissions.
Whichever engine you choose, you’re bound to enjoy either a smooth and responsive 6-speed manual or a sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission. You can even control the sound of your Mustang by using the Active Valve Exhaust, select Race Track mode to hear the engine roar, or choose Quiet Mode for a more peaceful experience.
Safety
The Mustang has been awarded a 3-star NCAP rating as evidence of its capability of protecting you, your passengers and also pedestrians.
The Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses radar and camera technology which scans the road ahead. If you are at risk of colliding with a vehicle or a pedestrian it will provide you with a warning. If you do not respond in time, the system can automatically apply the brakes.
A Thatcham Category 1 active anti-theft system has been designed to protect your Mustang by warning you if anyone tries to break into your car.
Ford Mustang Mach-1
The Mustang Mach 1 is a serious Mustang meant for those who are serious about performance. The Mach 1 has a 5.0 litre V8 engine which delivers a colossal 460 PS at 7,500 rpm, and 569 Nm of torque at 4,600 rpm!

The Mach 1 has an aggressive and commanding presence on the road with its signature Satin Black side and hood stripes along with its optional 19″ Tarnished Dark alloy wheels with exclusive Michelin tyres. Aerodynamic enhancements have been made which include the front splitter, belly pan and rear deffuser. These work in tandem to deliver more downforce than a standard Mustang GT.
The Mustang Mach 1 interior provides style, comfort, as well as performance. You are met with premium leather sports seats with signature Mach 1 accent stripes. Unique to the Mach 1 is the dark-effect instrument panel, white cue ball gearshift knob, Mach 1 limited-edition badge. A 12.3″ digital instrument cluster gives key information, whilst a host of smart assist technologies improve your driving experience.
Selectable drive modes are available on the Mustang Mach 1, you can choose from Normal, Sport, and Track to suit the environment you’re driving in. The Mach 1 is also available as a track tested 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission.
