At the end of last year Ford revealed the New Tourneo Custom at the Frankfurt Motor Show, a premium minibus that offers practicality to any of its buyers. The revised model is available with up to nine seats and is the only van-based people carrier with six separate rear seats that can be arranged individually. So, let’s take a more in depth look at the Tourneo below.

A revised grille has been added to the new Tourneo, giving it a more distinctive look. As well as this, Ford have added new headlamps with LED daytime running lights. Ford have kept the design relatively simple and not too dis-similar to previous models, however where the new Tourneo really stands out is inside!

Ford have made a lot of changes to the interior of the vehicle, the Tourneo boasts an improved air-conditioning system. 10 speaker stereo system and six USB ports have been added, providing you with everything you need for the perfect road trip.

The cabin trim has been improved which delivers a more upmarket feel. Fine-grain leather has been added enhancing the more upmarket feel.

 

Ford SYNC 3Technology

Cutting-edge technology has been added to the Tourneo, smart driver assist features such as a Blind Spot Information System that sees vehicles you might miss. Other features include Intelligent Speed Assist that can detect the current speed limit and Cross Traffic Alert which will warn you if it detects oncoming traffic when reversing out of a space.

SYNC 3, Ford’s seamless voice and touch control system has also been added to the Tourneo.

Underneath the bonnet, the Tourneo Custom is equipped with the Ford EcoBlue 2.0 litre engine. The engine is advanced, delivering new levels of power and tourque but impressively meets ultra-low emissions and improves fuel efficiency.
