Busseys – Main Ford Dealer, Norfolk, have found it surprisingly easy to make a difference to their carbon footprint in just a few short months. 

Busseys installed heating control devices in their workshops which shut the heating off when the workshop doors are open.  Thanks to these devices alone, Busseys managed to save 43,519 litres of heating oil in 8 months last year.  According to the Carbon Trust the formula is 373 litres of oil equals 1 metric tonne of Co2, this means Busseys carbon foot print was reduced by 116 metric tonnes of Co2!  That’s the equivalent amount of Co2 emissions as driving a prior model Ford Focus Sport 5dr with a 1.6 Duratec Petrol (100) PS engine to the moon and back!*
